Hayden Miller is a drummer, composer, and bandleader based in New York City. He graduated with his B.M. at the University of Central Florida and recently received his M.M. from New York University

Miller has had the opportunity to teach and participate at a plethora of different music camps such as the Frost School of Music Summer Jazz Camp, Florida State University Summer Jazz Camp, BSMA Music Academy Workshop, and the Maestros Music Academy Conductor’s Workshop. Throughout his collegiate studies, Miller has had the honor of studying under and being mentored by musicians such as Clarence Penn, Dezron Douglas, Jeffrey Rupert, Jason Marsalis, Billy Drewes, Dave Pietro, Per Danielsson, and many others.

In July 2026, Miller was honored to participate in the Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency. This two-week intensive composing residency culminated in a performance of original music in front of thousands on the main-stage of the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival in Wilmington, DE. He had the opportunity to perform with the opening group for Sheila E. and the E-Train.

He was also featured on WRTI, the local jazz radio station of Philadelphia, during his time spent in Delaware.

Miller recently released his debut album, Hourglass, on March 27th, 2026. This project includes all of Miller’s newest original compositions with various different styles in the jazz idiom.
